Tim Tebow Sucks

Josh on Tebow: I'm sick of the Tebow hype. This guy stinks. There are those who say he's a winner, and that he plays with heart. Well guess what? That doesn't matter unless you have talent, and this guy has zero talent. I can throw a ball left-handed with my eyes closed better than he can throw a football. Heck, I could probably throw an airplane better than he can, and I can't throw an airplane.

Sure, Tebow is a nice guy, but he's not being paid to be nice. He's getting paid to lead a team, win games, and play well. The only thing he has accomplished is beating the defeated Miami Dolphins. Whoopdy-freaking-do. It disgusts me how overrated and overpaid Tebow is. Tebow is making 1.618.75 million dollars this year (according to the denver post). You couldn't pay me that much to have this scrub on my team. Shave your beard Tim, you look like a bum. But then again, I guess you are a bum.

Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for talking bad about him. Really, I do. I'm even saying a prayer right now just so I don't feel so bad. But he doesn't deserve all the attention he's getting, especially when there are plenty of other under-the-radar players that are better than him.

Call me a jerk if you want to, that's fine by me. Just please don't call me Tim Tebow.

Bret on Tebow:

Tim Tebow has many haters and I am one of them. Tim Tebow had an amazing college career, but look at who he had around him and his coaching staff. Just to name a few: Riley Cooper, Aaron Hernandez, Maurkice Pouncey, Joe Haden, and Urban Meyer for the coaching staff. In the college game, quarterbacks can run around with no problems whatsoever. Every wide receiver is open on every play, unless their is an elite cornerback covering him, which there is few of. In college, he still wasn't the most accurate quarterback around.

Then you have the people who say he deserves a chance because he is a good religious man that is willing to change his game. WHO CARES? He might be the ideal man, but definitely not the ideal quarterback. Being religious can't make you complete the pass or win the game. Some said that he is coming along well because he led his team back against the Dolphins. What people seem to forget is that the Dolphins haven't won a game all year and have one of the worst passing defenses in the league.

Tebow will not be successful in the NFL at any point in his career as a quarterback.

William on Tebow:
Tim Tebow, the new starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos has been under some serious heat this year about taking the starting position from former starter Kyle Orton.  Tim Tebow has been an alright quarterback but he has a really awkward throwing motion. They tried to fix it in Florida and they couldn't. They are trying to fix it in Denver but they can't.

I can forgive him for having a bad throw every once in awhile, but I will not forgive him for missing wide open receivers. If in the last game he played in against the Lions where the Broncos defense broke down and left Titus Young open by twenty yards Tebow may have over or under threw him which is extremely unacceptable.

He plays hard and his a winner, so im sure he will be a decent quarterback but never a star in the NFL.

Heisman Watch 2011

The Heisman trophy is the number one individual reward in all of college football. It is given every year to the best player in the nation each season. There are many deserving players this season as always but here are my top five candidates through week 7.

1. Russell Wilson is having a monster season after transferring to Wisconsin from NC State this season. He is a versatile quarterback and they whole reason behind the success of the Badgers offense. He is the best player in the country at this time.

2. Andrew Luck is my second player in the Heisman ranks right now. He has thrown for nearly 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns this season while only throwing two interceptions all season. He will have a lot of work to do to pass Russell Wilson.

3. Robert Griffin III is a surprise candidate this year out of Baylor University. He is having a monster season throwing for 1520 yards and 19 touchdowns and the season is only halfway over. He is on pace to throw almost 40 touchdowns this season, which is unbelievable.

4. Kellen Moore, no surprise is right around the Heisman Trophy race at this point in the season. The Boise State quarterback has 1400 yards and 17 touchdowns but they have had no challenges this season, and will need to be undefeated to get him more respect.

5. Trent Richardson is kind of a surprise but he is having a good season at Alabama this year. He has rushed for 729 yards, 11 touchdowns, and a stunning 6.3 yards per carry. He may not win the Heisman but he’s definitely having a great year.
